The Contracts involve furnishing and applying asphalt products (GSB-88, and GMRSS or equivalent) meeting the specifications required, to meet the needs of the City of Burley road repairs and maintenance. The work to be contracted will include providing and applying fog seal oil to approximately 50,021 square yards of roadway, and providing and applying chip seal oil to approximately 86,389 square yards of roadway. Before a contract will be awarded, the owner may consider the performance record, equipment, and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the type of work specified under this contract. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of either a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. The City of Burley reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Burley.
