Description of Work: The General Scope of the Project is to Install the Secondary Clarifier No. 3 Mechanism and Ras Pump No. 5, Including All Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Work Required Therein. Pre-bid Conference: There Will Be No Pre-bid Conference. Site Visits Can Be Arranged if Desired Per Section 5.4 of 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders. Project Administration: All Questions Relative to This Project Prior to the Opening of Bids Shall Be Directed to the Engineer for the Project, and All Questions Shall Be in Writing. It Shall Be Understood, However, That No Interpretations of the Documents Will Be Made by Telephone. No Clarifications or Questions Will Be Answered Three (3) Days Prior to Bid Date. The Certified or Cashier's Check, Money Order, or Bidder's Bond Shall Be Enclosed in the Same Envelope With the Bid. Bid Security: Each Proposal Must Be Submitted on the Prescribed Form and Accompanied by Bid Security in the Form of a Certified Cashier's Check or a Corporate Bid Bond Executed on the Prescribed Form, Payable to the City of Burley in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Amount Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, Each in the Amount Not Less Than 100% of the Contract Price.
