RFP_366727KMW - APS-TD CRYO IB1 MYCOM 3 Electrical Work The project is located on the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) Site, adjacent to the city of Batavia, Illinois. Dupage county. The Project is located, in IB1A and Building and IB1 building Kinney room, also outside work in between IB1A and IB1. Scope of Work 2. Location of Work: IB1A building & IB1 Building Kinney Pump Room. 3. Perform pre-job briefing to discuss potential hazards associated with the work and ways to minimize / mitigate those hazards. 4. All panel shutdown work shall be performed using proper NFPA 70E procedures and LOTO accordingly. 5. Perform Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) as necessary to de-energize any electrical components on which work will be performed. 6. Run 480VAC 3-ph circuit, (6) 350mcm THHN and qty 1 #1AWG THHN Ground inside a 3-1/2 in. dia. RMC conduit from IB1A building breaker panel DHP-IB1A-1 to Starter Cabinet in IB1 Kinney Pump Room. 7. Install FNAL provided Starter Cabinet RX2E-400-480-12KP using Unistrut's in the space shown by FNAL in Kinney Pump Room. 8. Shutdown Panel DHP-IB1A-1, Remove Existing Spare breaker in CRKT#1. Provide and Install Circuit breaker in IB1A building breaker panel DHP-IB1A-1 CRKT#1. Circuit breaker should be LSI 600A rated with dial adjust between 200A-600A. Provide breaker filler panel as needed. Suggested breaker: LRA36600U33X, please verify the breaker part no. accurate and meets requirements before using. DHP-IB1A-1 is HCW Cat. # 39328-11C power panel. 9. FNAL will give suggestion on Conduit path, but Vendor should determine the final path for conduit run. 10. Provide and Install Nema 3R exterior cabinet for Cable routing on the exterior opening wall of IB1A building. 11. Make conduit kicks and offset as necessary. 12. Provide and Use Modul LB conduit body as necessary in IB1 Building. 13. Run 480VAC 3-ph circuit, (6) 350mcm THHN and qty 1 #1AWG THHN Ground inside a 3-1/2 in. dia. RMC conduit from Starter Cabinet to Main motor. Terminate wires. 14. Run 480VAC 3-ph circuit, (4) 12AWG in 3/4'' EMT conduit from starter to 7.5HP oil pump. Terminate wires. 15. Run (7) 16 AWG THIN copper cables 120V from starter to Local PLC. 16. Run (2) BELDEN 8723 control cables from starter to Local PLC Cabinet. 17. Run 120VAC - 20A 1-ph, circuit in separate conduit from UPS in IB1A building to the Mycom#3 Controls cabinet in Kinney Pump Room. 18. Label devices and update all panel schedules. 19. Ensure all connections are properly torqued to manufacturer specifications and that there are no loose or exposed wires. 20. Remove Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) to re-energize equipment and verify functionality. 21. Perform close out of job site.
