Any bidding questions regarding this contract are due no later than 5 PM on Friday, May 9th, 2025 This contract provides for construction of a new submersible wastewater lift station at 2404 Golf Club Rd SE to include a 12-foot diameter wet well, valve vault, flow meter vault, connection to existing lift station, connection to an existing 10-inch ductile iron force main, new electrical and controls building including bathroom, wet well coatings, valves, fittings, site improvements, new stormwater piping, new water and wastewater mains, catch basins, landscaping, construction dewatering, and other work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check for five percent of the amount of the proposal made payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond for five percent of the amount of the proposal executed on the approved form attached to these specifications. If bid bond is used, the five percent may be shown in dollars and cents or the form may be filled in by inserting therein, in lieu thereof, "five percent of the amount of the accompanying proposal". Check of unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately upon award of contract.
