Thurston PUD is soliciting qualifications to establish materials testing services. The project will include but is not limited to testing services, often on short notice, related to construction material inspection, sampling, and field and accredited laboratory testing of various materials including but not limited to, soil aggregate, hot mix asphalt, and concrete in accordance with applicable state and federal guidelines and American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) specifications, as well as associated documentation and report writing. Services may also include some specialized inspections including structural metal welding, and material composition analysis. The estimated time period for this contract is July 15, 2025 to June 30, 2027. Thurston PUD reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional one-year period at the sole discretion of Thurston PUD.
