The City of Carlsbad (City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services during the pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases of Citywide Electrical Control Panel Replacement Project for Water and Wastewater Facilities (Project). Services will also include special electrical inspection of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system installations. The Consultant will provide construction management and quality assurance inspection services for all construction and SCADA-related activities at the sites shown in the Project contract documents and plans. The Project is scheduled to be awarded in September 2025. The use of Procore is required; prior use is preferred with the emphasis on using the software to manage project submittals, RFIs, and all project documentation. The CMWD and City will respond to technical submittals, RFIs, and special field inspection requests as needed during the construction phase of work. The agreement will be for two (2) years with two (2) additional one (1) year term extensions. The expected award date is September 17, 2025. The Project completion date is forecast in 2027.
