PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Fleet Maintenance Building Refurbishment Project involves the thorough renovation of the existing Fleet Maintenance Building complete with an approximate 500 square foot building addition. The work scope also includes raising the roof elevation in one area of the building to make it level with the adjacent roof. Also included in the work scope is: the selective demolition of asphalt and concrete pavement next to the building; modifications to exterior and interior walls and their footings/foundations; roofing materials replacement; renovation/ replacement of roll-up doors, floor slabs, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, interior concrete footings and pads; excavation, shoring, dewatering, and trenching as needed; new mechanical, electrical and plumbing work; new finishes as indicated and the restoration of surrounding pavement and other improvements as indicated on the drawings. The location of the Fleet Maintenance Building is 2480 Impala Drive. The engineering estimate for the project is $4.8 million The scope of services requested are described in Exhibit "A" and are intended to summarize the minimum scope of work needed. Each contractor may modify the scope of services to be provided; however, all modifications shall be clearly identified in the Contractor's proposal. All questions must be received prior to May 15, 2025, at 5 p.m. All questions related to this solicitation shall be submitted in writing through the website.
