The Project consists of pavement replacement, milling, other road work, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, site restoration, and other appurtenant work for 7 streets wholly within the Town of Porter. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis A pre-bid conference will not be conducted. There is no fee for registration on the plan holder's list and obtain of digital bidding documents. General Specifications, description and conditions upon which the bid proposal is to be based are on file for examination at the office of the Engineer, Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. 17 N Washington St., Valparaiso, IN 46383. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of successful bidder. Bidder shall submit Indiana State Form 96 and be certified to do work in the State of Indiana. Additional Bidding requirements are in the Instructions to bidders included in the Project Documents. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening without consent of the Owner.
