The City requires a new training structure and propane gas fuelled training devices for its Fire Training Grounds. The training structure shall be designed and constructed to permit a wide range of training activities by the City's Fire Department, including but not limited to the following activities: Live fire High angle operations Searches Laddering Fire ground survival evolution Roof breach operations Fire alarms Standpipe operations Sprinkler systems Theatrical smoke generation and evacuation and elevator operations The Fire Training Structure Design/Build Project work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Provision of all specifications and drawings, to be approved by the City prior to construction: Above Grade Structure and Appurtenances Specifications Container Drawings Architectural, Civil, Structural, and Electrical Training Site Geotechnical Report Topographic Survey Site Safety Rules Structure: Supply and installation of seven (7) new 40' containers and five (5) new 20'containers c/w doors, windows, stair towers, railings, removable partitions, hatches, sloped roof. Containers to be steel primed with 2-part epoxy. Electrical: Supply and installation of lighting, fire alarm and elevator panel simulator, and receptacles/outlets. Mechanical: Supply and installation of stand pipe system, sprinkler heads with shut-off valve, propane burn system, smoke distribution system, burn system control panels and piping and valves to smoke system within training structure. Supply and installation of indoor props. Supply and installation of outdoor burn props. - Optional Concrete and civil works. Gas and electrical power supply to training structure.
