Site work for a water / sewer project in Red Bank, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work for this project entails: The project includes the replacement of approximately 300 lead service lines with new copper service lines, which will include the replacement from the water main to the curb stop and/or the curb stop to the water meter inside the building. Excavation of trenches and test pits will be restored to previous condition and service line material will be documented. The successful bidder is required to comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, which include but are not limited to the business registration requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44; the public works contractor registration requirements of N.J.S.A. 34:11- 56.48 et seq.; the anti-discrimination requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., P.L. 1975 c. 127., and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.; and the prevailing wage requirements of N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. The Borough of Red Bank intends to award this project to the lowest bidder whose bid proposal is responsive and complies with its requirements for the project, provided that, in the judgment of the Borough of Red Bank, the award is reasonable, within available funds, and in the best interest of the Borough of Red Bank. The Borough of Red Bank reserves the right to consider the bid proposals for 60 days after the bid proposals are opened and read, and to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part. All bidders please be advised that this project may be funded entirely or at least in part from a Federal assistance agreement between EPA and the Borough of Red Bank. In accordance with State, local or tribal laws and regulation as well as Federal laws and Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) - 2 CFR Part 200 (i.e. procurement standards), 40 CFR Part 33 and/or 40 U.S.C. Part 1101 et seq., all bidders shall acknowledge the federal requirements and provisions for construction contracts including, but not limited to: the Davis-Bacon Act; EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program; Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act; and American Iron and Steel (AIS) Act.
