Replace approximately 2400 feet of Transite and cast iron waterlineand 1400 feet of 8-inch diameter clay sewer line in the alley and alongN. 6th Street East near Spruce Street. The project will also involveremoval and replacement of some concrete sidewalk, valley pan andcurb and gutter. The contractor will need to provide traffic control,temporary water and work in close proximity with other utilities. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check inthe amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidderwill be required to post performance and payment bonds, each in theamount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. Submitted bids shall not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) daysafter opening. The City of Riverton reserves the unilateral right to accept or rejectany or all bids, make substitutions and waive informalities andtechnicalities as will be in the best interest of the City of Riverton, andto accept the bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Cityof Riverton.
