Project Description: The City of Victorville is requesting quotes for the demolition of the dilapidated shade structure and the installation of new concrete flatwork at Center Street Park, located at 15413 Center Street, Victorville, CA 92395. The scope of work shall include but is not limited to the demolition of the 900 square foot shade structure and 400 square feet of adjacent sidewalk. The contractor is required to verify all measurements. The Contractor shall replace the demolished structure and adjacent sidewalk with new concrete. The Contractor shall comply with all OSHA requirements and safety guidelines associated with the work within this contract. The Contractor is also responsible to procure and post any required permits prior to the commencement of work including but not limited to City of Victorville, Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (MDAQMD). BEGINNING OF WORK, TIME OF COMPLETION: The Contractor shall begin work by the date specified in the City's Notice to Proceed informing him that the contract has been awarded and shall diligently prosecute the work so that all the work shall be completed before the expiration of 30 CALENDAR DAYS, including the specified starting date. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The Contractor shall pay the City of Victorville the sum of FIVE HUNDRED AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($500.00) per calendar day for each and every calendar day delay in finishing the work in excess of THIRTY (30) WORKING DAYS as specified above as Liquidated Damages. The City withholds liquidated damages before the accrual date if the anticipated liquidated damages may exceed the value of the remaining work.
