St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton requires a qualified General Contractor to complete renovation work to consolidate the Pathology labs into one newly renovated area. The Pathology Lab in the St. Luke wing on Level 2 is undergoing a transformative renovation aimed at enhancing its services. The focus areas of the renovation include cytology, histology, microtomy, processing, and grossing. The renovation promises to revolutionize the lab's functionality. By optimizing the layout and workflow, the renovated lab will facilitate a smoother processing experience for the staff, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in diagnostic procedures. Due to the size/nature of the project, the project will be completed in phases. During this construction period, SJHH staff will continue working on the same floor, performing critical tasks essential to patient care. Contractors must remain mindful of the active work environment and coordinate closely with our team to ensure a smooth and safe process. Contractors must carryout the phased construction as per Architectural Drawings. Subject to St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton's reserved rights and privileges set out in this RFT, the Contract shall be awarded to the bidder that submitted the compliant Bid with the lowest Procurement Value. Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tender have been previously selected through the process of Request for Supplier Qualifications 02-2425-RFSQ.
