The County of Tuolumne through its County Administrative Office ("County") is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide The County of Tuolumne ("County") is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive cabling and installation services for the County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center relocation to the existing Ambulance/Fire/EOC headquarters located at 18440 Striker Court in Sonora. These cabling services will include copper, fiber and other cable types as requested and required for an emergency services dispatch center. Oversight and standard compliance validation will be performed by the County Information Technology Department (IT). It is the intent of the County to obtain an all-inclusive labor and materials bid.. These services must be provided for a six (6) months term, with the option of two (2), three (3) month extensions. Said services must meet all applicable Federal, State and/or Local regulations. The payment of prevailing wages is required. Prior to award of the contract, the Contractor shall possess a C-7 Contractor's License issued by the State of California Contractor's Licensing Board. Failure of the bidder to obtain the required license before award of the contract constitutes a failure to execute the contract. The IDF shall accommodate one (1) @ 7'(44U) Server Cabinet (provided by others), one (1) 7'(45U) 19" Steel Relay Rack (provided by others), two (2) @ 7'(45U) 4-post open frame steel server racks (provided by Contractor), one (1) 7'(45U) 19" Steel Relay Rack (provided by contractor), and one (1) @ 7'(44U) Server/AV Cabinet (existing). All the aforementioned racks and cabinets shall be capable of accepting 19" wide EIA Equipment. The IDF shall also incorporate necessary cable ladder, raceway and waterfalls to provide a continuous cable pathway between, and to, all racks, cabinets, and where appropriate perimeter walls and overhead joists/rafters/I-beams. All cabinets, racks, ladder and raceway shall be appropriately grounded/bonded. All racks and ladder shall be contractor provided and installed securely as to provide no movement. All open framed racks shall include cable management as identified below in the Scope of Work (SOW). Contractor shall utilize the proposed floorplan design provided by County IT to accommodate all the racks/cabinets listed above to include any necessary ladder and raceway as described above. Contractor shall provide and install all Contractor-provided equipment outlined in this document. The Dispatch Center will consist of four (4) Dispatch and two (2) Dispatch Supervisor stations. Each station requires twelve (12) Category 6A cables, which shall be terminated in the new IDF. Additionally, the Dispatch Center will be monitored by six (6) Network Cameras each requiring one (1) network drop. Eight (8) Category 6A Cables, one (1) 12-strand OS 2 Single Mode Fiber, and one (1) 24-Strand Armored OM4 Laser Optimized Multimode Fiber (LOMMF) shall interconnect the IDF to the MDF. Total UTP network drops for the location shall be eighty-six (86). Question Deadline 05/16/2025 at 12:00 PM PT Contractor Selection Date/Contract Executed (Tentative):July 16, 2025. The award of the contract, if it is to be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid complies with all the requirements prescribed. Such award, if made, will be made within sixty (60) days after the opening of the bids, unless an extension is agreed to by the lowest responsible bidder. The award of the contract will be subject to the availability of funds. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. Contractors may not withdraw their bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date on which the bids are due. The selected Contractor shall be required to sign the County Agreement, a sample of which is attached to this IFB. The Agreement term shall be for a period of six (6) months. County may, at its option and upon Contractor's concurrence, extend the term for a period of not more than two (2) three (3) month extensions, or until said services are no longer required, whichever is sooner.
