Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Shoreline, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Description: Replace an existing facility that was removed as part of the ongoing redevelopment of the north end of campus. The new greenhouse and pond facilities will act as a living laboratory used by STEM programs on campus. Multiple courses in biology, biochemistry, botany, environmental science, and continuing education programs will utilize the pond and greenhouse as part of their curriculum. The site landscaping around the greenhouse and pond will be integrated into the campus open space and include opportunities for sitting, resting, and reflecting. The landscape is intended to partially restore and celebrate some of the natural ecosystems that existed before this area was developed. Notice to Proceed: 4/1/24 Scheduled Substantial Completion: 6/27/25
