This project is located at 8th Ave NW between NW 180th St and Richmond Beach Road and proposes to construct sidewalk on the east side of the road as well as upgrade storm water facilities and a half street overlay. The estimated construction cost is $1,600,000 - $1,900,000. The time for physical completion of the Work is within 160 working days. This project is subject to state requirements pertaining to prevailing wage. All bid proposals must be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of such bid proposal, payable to the City of Shoreline. Cash will not be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities and to award the project to the responsible bidder with the lowest responsive bid as it best serves the interest of the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
