This project is located at Boeing Creek at NW Innis Arden Way near the intersection of NW 166th St. and proposes to replace the undersized and aging culverts with a new steel arch culvert to reduce flooding risk elevated after removal of the upstream dam, improve fish habitat and passage conditions, and restore natural sedimentation processes. The estimated construction cost is $4,800,000. The time for physical completion of the Work is within 190 working days. This project is subject to state requirements pertaining to prevailing wage and apprenticeship utilization. Questions regarding this project may be submitted only via. All bid proposals must be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of such bid proposal, payable to the City of Shoreline. Cash will not be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities and to award the project to the responsible bidder with the lowest responsive bid, as it best serves the interest of the City.
