NJ TRANSIT is issuing anIFB for work that generally consists of but is not limited to Newark Broad Street Station & Plaza Area Facility Maintenance and Management Services Contract. All work must be in conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. This is a Two-Step IFB. Step One (1) of this IFB will involve a pre-qualification process. All Bidders must be prequalified by NJ TRANSIT prior to submitting a Bid. All Bidders, regardless of past performance, must complete the Bidders Pre-Qualification Package(Attachment B) for review by the NJ TRANSIT Pre- qualification Committee prior to the submission of their Bid in Step Two(2). The Bidders Pre- qualification Package (Attachment B) for review by the NJ TRANSIT Pre-qualification Committee prior tothe submission of their Bid in Step Two (2). The Bidders Pre-qualification Package (Attachment B) must be submitted by email to cperry@njtransit.com on or before 4:00 P.M. (EST) Thursday, May 22, 2025 for the Bidder to be considered as a possible Bidder. Late pre- qualification forms shall not be accepted and will disqualify a vendor from contract award. Only those Bidders who have participated in Step One (1) and who have been deemed pre-qualified will be allowed to submit a Bid inStep Two (2). All Bidders who are found to be acceptable at the completion of Step One (1) and deemed pre-qualified will be notified of their status by Tuesday, June 10, 2025, by 4:00 P.M. and will be invited to submit a Bid in Step Two (2). NJ TRANSIT further requires that its Contractors agree to take all necessary and responsible steps in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-17 et seq.; N.J.S.A 52:32-31.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:13-1.1 et seq.; N.J.A.C. 17:14-1.11 et seq., and other applicable regulation to ensure that Small Business Enterprises (SBEs)/Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (DVOBs)have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract. A Twenty-five percent (25%) Category 3 SBE/DVOB goal has been assigned to this project. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:25-11 and N.J.A.C. 16:72-2.2, Bidders are notified that a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required with their Bids. Bidders are required to comply with all relevant State and Federal statutes and regulations, as specified in the solicitation documents available online
