Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newark, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of the following scope items: New Playground with Soft surface New Turf Field with Subsurface Drainage Asphalt and Pavement Demolition Playground Equipment The schedule for the work is noted below, which is subject to material procurement and review with Owner: Work Commencement: June 13, 2025 Substantial Completion: August 4, 2025 Bidders must submit one Bid Bond in an amount equal to 10% of the proposed Contract Price for the work to be performed at 43 Alexander Street, but not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) per N.J.S.A 18A:18A-24. Bid proposals for the above work will be received from bidders registered with the Division of Revenue and Department of Labor, and classified by the Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC"): General Contractors with a DPMC Classification of C006, C008 or C009, or; Electrical Contractors with a DPMC Classification of C047 Other Special Categories may be required and as set forth in the Request for Proposals. This process shall be conducted in accordance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A: 18A-1 et. seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 (P.L. 1975, c. 127) and N.J.A.C. :27-1 et seq., pertaining to affirmative action and equal employment opportunity.
