The Work is generally described as follows: Chemical Feed Building Rehabilitation, Complete Stationary Standby Generator Set, Pump Modifications and Hydropneumatic Tank Rehabilitation. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening. Acquisition of property for easements, right of way, etc. is not expected to be required for this project. No bids may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) through State and Local Fiscal Recovery Program.
