Site work for a transportation facility in Comox, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This project involves construction of a pavilion to display the 1948 de Havilland Vampire Mark III aircraft at the Comox Air Force Museum Heritage Air Park. As the Vampire's partial wooden construction prevents storage outside, it has been kept in a hanger since it's arrival at CFB Comox in 2000. This project will provide a permanent home for the Vampire on full display to the public. The pavilion features a large roof overhang and glass enclosure to protect the aircraft from the elements, while allowing up-close viewing from all sides. Site works, subgrade services, foundations, and slab were completed previously in Phase 1 of this project.
