**As of June 16 , 2025 , This project has been awarded to Oxford Construction, with the awarded amount of $1,623,349.** Bid opening location has been changed to: 439 GA-91, Newton, GA 39870 2025 LMIG Road Improvements This Project will patch and resurface approximately 8.05 miles of Milford Road from State Route 216 to State Route 200. This scope generally consists of 804 TONS of Road Patching by milling existing road and replacing with 4" of 19 mm Superpave Asphalt, 4,100 TONS of leveling, and 6,475 TONS of asphalt overlay. Project also includes traffic control, shoulder clipping and grading, tack coat, primer, striping along with any other related accessories and appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents. A Bid Security in the sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. Form of Bid Security shall be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All anticipated federal, state, or local permits required for the project have been obtained by Owner. A list of these permits is included in Paragraph 6.08 of the Supplementary Conditions. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening. Question Deadline 05/26/2025 . All requests for technical information from Bidders shall send requests to the Engineer by facsimile or email only up to 72 hours prior to bid date.
