POMERLEAU INC, acting as Construction Manager (CM) on behalf of the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), is pleased to notify proponents of an opportunity to respond to a Request for Qualification for the purposes of qualifying tenderers for construction services in Ottawa, Ontario. It is the CM's objective to identify Trade Partners specialized in their field of expertise, that will be permitted to provide bid pricing for the execution and delivery of CM Services to Block 2 in Ottawa, ON. The RFT scope of work for the EW-04.1 package comprises of micropiling work with corrosive resistant coating and infilled with rock anchors and grout, and all required load testing. It will require excavation, backfill, compaction and soldier pile and lagging type shoring. There will be some concrete works involving forming, provision of reinforcement, and concrete supply and placement. The piling is to support a façade retention steel superstructure, tendered under a separate package (EW-04.2). The retained facades are federally designated heritage, and their exteriors are of great historical and monetary significance.
