Site work for a mixed-use development in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a 40,955-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; water / sewer project; and playground / park / athletic field.
Site Demolition, Excavation, Site Utilities, Ground Improvements, Concrete Foundations, Precast Supply and Miscellaneous for the Washington College & Career Readiness & Freshman Academies project. Work to commence on or about June 1, 2025. Reference schedule in each bid package for substantially complete date for Bid Issuance #2. All work and equipment is to be in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents on file with the Board of Education of the Cedar Rapids Community School District, which are by this reference made a part of this notice as though fully set out and incorporated herein. Separate lump-sum bid for the Washington College & Career Readiness & Freshman Academies project will be received for: Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as security the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid and shall furnish after the award of contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the owner, for the faithful performance of the contract in the amount equivalent to 100% of the amount of the contract.
