The City of Rolla hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry or national origin in consideration for an award. Federal Land and Water Conservation Funds are being used in this project, and all relevant federal, state, and local requirements apply. The project will consist of installing a lighting system for the Wilson Field in the Ber Juan Park. An itemized breakout of scope of work can be found in these specifications. All bids shall include the proposal form provided and shall be accompanied by a bid bond issued by an acceptable surety company and payable to the order of the City of Rolla, for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The successful Contractor shall be expected to proceed as expeditiously as possible upon receipt of the NOTICE TO PROCEED and complete the project within the specified number of calendar days as noted on the Scope of Work page. Once awarded the bid, the successful contractor will be required to have a City of Rolla business license. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to ask for modifications or changes of all contractors throughout the process. All proposals shall meet or exceed specifications.
