The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed Bids to furnish HVAC Installation, Service and Repair to be used as noted by The School Board of Brevard County, Florida. 2.2. SCOPE OF GOODS AND/OR SERVICES This Specification establishes the minimum requirements for this solicitation to secure firm fixed pricing and select multiple bidders to provide comprehensive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installation, services and repairs at facilities operated by the School Board. The intent is to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant HVAC system operations across the School District. The Bidder's performance shall be in accordance with these specifications and meet the quality standards of service outlined herein. BIDDERS RESPONSONBILITY Awarded Bidders shall be responsible for the installation, service and repair, rentals, and rebuilds of HVAC systems throughout the School District. Mechanical Installation, Services & Repairs OEM-Certified Equipment Service Chiller and Temporary A/C Rentals BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS Successful Bidders submitting a bid must be: Licensed in the State of Florida (with bid submittal) Provide technician credentials and proof of relevant training or certifications (with bid submittal) Provide AIA qualification statements Subcontractor use is prohibited unless approved in writing by the School Board. All employees of Successful Bidder, including subcontractors, are required to pass background screening for JLA badge, and remain badged for the duration of the contract. In accordance with Chapter 489, Florida Statutes. Corporations must be registered in the State of Florida by the Department of the State, Division of Corporations, at the time of contract award. www.SunBiz.com. PROJECT ALLOCATION **Projects Under $15,000: ** Quotes may be solicited from at least one awarded Bidder Quotes must include: Labor hours, hourly rates (fully burdened) Itemized materials list with markup not exceeding 10% **Projects Between $15,000 and $300,000: ** Quotes will be solicited from all awarded Bidders Quotes must include: A lump sum Scope of work Subcontractor details (if any) Material specs All quotes must be firm. Increases are permitted only through written School Board approval. The deadline to submit questions related to this solicitation is 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
