Question Deadline 05/28/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Building Maintenance Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Building Maintenance Department All requests for interpretation must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids Bids are invited on the following work: Replace 10 automated, roll-up garage doors, tracks, openers and remote controls at Fire Station #1 located at 135 N Bristol Street Sun Prairie WI. Replacement brand should be Clopay Extreme Series doors (see Attachment 1). There are 7 (14'8" x 14'8") doors, 1 (11' x 12'), and 2 (12' x 11') doors requiring replacement. Preference emphasized on controllers which support smart monitoring, secure remote operation, and driver hazard detection and warnings. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid amount payable to the City of Sun Prairie as a guarantee that if their bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file a Contract within ten (10) days after such acceptance. The accepted bidder will execute and file the Agreement and the Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the bid amount within ten (10) days of Notice of Award. The City of Sun Prairie reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held by the City of Sun Prairie for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
