Renovation of a civil project in Palmer, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of removal of the existing two scum pumps and replacement with two new progressive cavity scum pumps with new electric drives and associated piping. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended, A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract. Question Deadline 05/28/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via the Tighe & Bond website In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids
