Downtown Storrs Resurfacing Project All bidders are required to inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to the construction and labor under which the work will be or is now being performed and the contractor shall employ, as far as possible, such methods and means in the carrying out of this work cause interruption or interference with any other contractor. The Town of Mansfield hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex, in consideration for an award. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security on form furnished by the Town of Mansfield. Bid Security is to be made payable to the Town of Mansfield in an amount of five percent (5%) of Bidder's maximum Bid Price and in the form of cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond (Exhibit E), issued by a surety company on the Federal Treasury Index List. The Bid Security shall be sealed in a separate envelope containing the Bid. The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defect, irregularities in the bidding.
