Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
Purpose. The City of Bonner Springs, Kansas, seeks written bids from companies to increase the energy efficiency of the existing Community Center and to further improve the cohesiveness of the Government Services Center as well as replace several damaged roof lines on City owned buildings. Community Center Windows: Replace all lower-level windows on East and South sides of building not previously done in 2023 and replace the Southern entrance door. It is the intent that the windows and door replacements shall match the work that was completed in 2023 on the upper level and the West and South sides of the lower level. Successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, supervision, waste disposal, and all other incidental items to complete the replacement of the Community Center Windows located on the lower level of the building. The selected Contractor will secure the project area at the end of each work day. Specific measurements of windows and door must be completed by the bidder. Please coordinate with staff to do so. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:30AM-4:30PM. Aquatic Park Facility - 1200 South 134th Street 2. South Park Facility - 246 Shady Side 3. City Hall - 200 East 3rd Street 4. Lions Park Concessions - 300 West Morse 5. Animal Control Facility - 11600 Kaw Drive 6. Public Works Facility - 12401 Kaw Drive 7. Cemetery Storage Facility - 1842 South 130th St. Add Alternates for City Buildings Roofing Replacement: 1. Add Alternate #1: Animal Control Facility: Removal of steep pitch on South side of facility - 11600 Kaw Drive 2 2. Add Alternate #2: Centennial Park Gazebo - 126 Cedar Street Specific measurements of each roof line and features must be completed by the bidder. Please coordinate with staff to do so.
