The City of Bonner Springs, Kansas, seeks written bids from companies with demonstrated experience in heating & air-conditioning global controller installation to update the library heating and air-conditioning system. This update is to be executed concurrently with the replacement of two HVAC rooftop units. Companies shall bid to supply, deliver and install a global controller including a commercial-grade computer to host it. The library's HVAC system includes one (1) air-handling unit (AHU), eight (8) variable air volume (VAV) controllers, two (2) rooftop units (RTU), and a separate unit for a storytime room. The AHU and the storytime unit are in place. The RTUs are being replaced, and this project must be coordinated with the RTU replacement project. Not all of the current VAVs are functioning. Include a minimum warranty of two (2) years. Provide all necessary equipment to complete installation. Obtain all necessary permits to work in the City of Bonner Springs, KS. Bids will be evaluated by the City based on price, quality, experience of the Contractor, responsiveness of the contractor, adaptability of the particular materials and equipment to the specific use intended and conformity to specifications. The City reserves the right to select the bid that best suits its need whether the price is the lowest or not and reserves the right to reject all bids or waive informalities.
