Work includes all necessary materials, site work, and foundation preparation required for the placement of the stormwater system, pipes, and structures. This RFB is considered to be Phase 1 of the Destin Crosstown Connector. The City intends to construct the Crosstown Connector project in 2 phases due to timing of availability of construction funding. When completed, the Crosstown Connector will be a new 0.42-mile two-lane east-to-west roadway corridor that will provide an alternative route to US 98 for local traffic. The new roadway corridor will connect Azalea Drive at the Benning Drive intersection to Legion Drive at the Beach Drive intersection. Phase 2 will construct the remainder of the project and will be advertised as a separate RFB.
