The City has successfully applied to participate in in SCE's "Light Duty" Charge Ready program for the installation of twenty (20) Level 2 electric vehicle charges for City fleet vehicles. The chargers have been delivered and are currently stored on the premises. This project will install the chargers on City Property for use by the public, city fleet, and employee vehicles. The twenty chargers will include ten (10) dual-port chargers and five (5) single-port chargers, and all charging will be provided per the city council's approved rate. The bidder will provide installation, energize and activate the chargers. The Bid Security must be submitted in hard copy directly to the City prior to the specified date and time for bid opening as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.
