The Village of Centertown, of Cole County, Missouri request qualifica-tions for preliminary engineering services, subsequent engineering design services, and construction in-spection services, to assist in a pro-posed storm water project to be partially financed with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The remainder of the project is being financed by the Village of Centertown. The project consists of repairs and replacement of culvert pipes, resurfacing of pavement, and corrections to drainage ditches. Information provided to the village must include at a minimum: 1. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to stormwater system improvements or related work 2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in ques-tion, including specialized services, within a period of twelve months be-ginning June 2025 3. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of cost, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules 4. The firm's proximity to and famil-iarity with the area in which the proj-ect is located 5. References from previous clients, related work with the firm within the past five years 6. References and experience on jointly funded CDBG grant projects 7. Documentation of compliance with E-Verify requirements The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for preliminary engineering will be negotiated separately from the cost for engineering design. Con-tracting for these two activities shall occur separately and cost/payments associated with each will be clearly defined. Contracts executed for en-gineering design and construction inspection services shall be contin-gent upon the award of the grant and commitment of all project funds.
