Highlands County Board of County Commissioners (County) is seeking pricing for annual fire extinguisher service and certification for Class A, B, C fire extinguishers This service is to include all types and styles. Therefore, it is requested that quotes for these services include all items listed on the attachments. Annual inspection presently is completed as needed, bi-annually on all extinguishers and it is our intention to continue with that time frame. NOTE: Inspection to meet all compliance requirements and prices are to be allinclusive. To include, but not limited to, tags, labels, seals, pull pins, handles, tamper devices, fusible links and all other material to bring extinguishing system up to NFPA compliance. License requirement: Florida Department of Financial Services Division of State Fire Marshal: Class A Fire Equipment Dealer License. Insurance requirements: Vendors may submit a certificate of insurance (Acord form showing the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners as the certificate holder) with their response to this Request or may submit with that Response a letter from a licensed insurance agent confirming that the vendor can be insured for the amounts required by paragraph 2.11 of this Request upon award. The awarded vendor must supply a certificate of insurance (Acord form showing the Highlands County Board of County Commissioners as the additionally insured) for the work to be performed or goods to be delivered pursuant to the purchase order issued pursuant to this Request before that purchase order will be issued. TERM: The successful bidder shall be responsible for furnishing and delivering to the County's requesting Department(s) the commodity or services on an "as needed basis." The initial term of the Contract shall be for one (1) year from the date of the Recommendation for Award. Upon mutual agreement of the parties, may be renewed for three (3) one (1) year terms, at the same pricing and terms and conditions set forth in the FWQ. The agreement may not exceed $50,000 for the life of the contract. Services may be terminated with a 30-day notice. The County reserves the right to add or delete locations and or devises asneeded based on the prices quoted. This "official" form(s) must be completed and used in submitting your written quote. The board Reserves the right to accept or reject any or all written quotes or any parts thereof.
