Reference Number 0000387022 The City of Aurora (City) intends to construct a new Animal Shelter facility on an approximate 5-acre portion of a 19-acre city-owned site. The site is located south of E 32nd Ave between Chambers Rd and N Airport Rd. The facility is expected to be approximately 35,000 to 40,000 square feet and will include public areas, animal care spaces, kennels, staff offices, and back-of-house support spaces typical to this facility type. Key systems for the building include medical gas, plumbing, and HVAC systems typical for modern animal shelter facilities. Questions received after the date and time indicated in the Schedule of Key Dates may not receive a written response. All questions will be answered via addendum and posted to online. Contract Award August 2025 This process will continue until a satisfactory contract is negotiated, or the City exercises its right to reject all proposals. The City shall solely decide when negotiations with any Proposer shall be concluded.
