As of August 6th,2025, the owner has selected a pre qualified contractor. Oc Waste & Recycling is Soliciting a Pre-qualification From Interested and Qualified Respondents for Electrical Infrastructure Improvements for Frank R. Bowerman Landfill. All Questions Pertaining to This Pre-qualification Must Be Submitted via the Opengov Website. Any County Response Relevant to This Pre-qualification Other Than Through or Approved by Oc Oc Waste & Recycling/purchasing Services is Unauthorized and Will Be Considered Invalid. The project consists of install a 15kV electrical system at the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill which provides power to nine locations within the site. The project consists of the following tasks: Installation of proposed underground medium voltage (15kV) and low voltage (600V) concrete encased conduits and conductors as shown on the plans. Installation of proposed new 12kV switchgear, 12kV switch, new pedestal at Leachate System, new switchboard at the CASP/Bee Canyon Greenery and new office switchboard per the plans. Installation of proposed concrete pads, pull boxes, and tub style manholes per the plans. The installation of a pedestals and switchboards at pad areas A & B, pump stations P-1 & P-2, the misting system, and leachate system will be installed by others including concrete pads per the plans. Installation of proposed conduits and conductors from transformer pads to the pedestals and the switchboards. Installation of proposed conduits and wires from the new office switchboard to the existing switchboards inside and outside the office building per the plans. Installation of signal conduit only for fiber optics to be installed under separate contract.
