Site work for a road / highway in Spring Hill, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Improvements to the intersection of 191st Street and US 169/K 7 are proposed. The conceptual improvements proposal will include a traffic signal, extension of left turn lanes and addition of right turn lanes on US 169/K 7, and reconstruction of the 191st Street approaches with left turn lanes and right turn lanes as necessary. A task order of $220,822 for design services from Lamp Rynearson was approved by the Governing Body on July 25, 2024. Additionally, Lamp Rynearson completed a cost estimate which was submitted to US Representative Sharice Davids' office to request federal funding for the completion of this project. Construction cost for the project is estimated at $3,000,000 As of May 15, 2025 ,This project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
