The Pinellas County School District (District) is soliciting sealed electronic bids in response to Reroof Buildings 3, 6, 19 and 28. The selected Contractor shall perform all services to furnish materials and labor for re-roofing buildings 3, 6, 19, and 28. This project will be completed as per plans and specifications prepared by Williamson Dacar Associates, Inc. dba Williamson Design Associates. It is mandatory that contractors bidding as prime contractors on projects for Pinellas County Schools shall be currently qualified on the date of opening of bids as a Florida Licensed General or Roofing Contractor. The State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) are part of the Florida Building Code. SREF requirements shall apply to construction, renovation, and remodeling of public educational facilities owned by Pinellas County School Board. Prices and discounts shall remain firm for this period and shall include ALL freight and handling charges. QA - 6/3/25: Single ply roofing systems are not acceptable. Modified bitumen roof system is to be used as per the construction documents. Cold applied modified bitumen roof is not acceptable. Torch applied system is to be utilized.
