This project includes the restoration of approximately 1 mile of the Pilchuck River and roughly 50 acres of its associated floodplain. The majority of work is performed on either the Tribe's property (Owner) or the Holy Cross Catholic Church and Ryan's Mountain Meadow HOA (Project Partners). There is work inside the Pilchuck River Ordinary High Water and within a wetland permitted for 2025. The following work elements are summarized below, separated by the Engineer's assumptions on schedule, means and methods: Construction Plans are provided as Appendix A. Technical Questions regarding this project should be submitted via email at least three (3) working days before the proposal due date. Question Deadline 06/03/2025 Work Performed includes: 1. Temporary Traffic Control and Safety from SR-92 and coordination with WSDOT. 2. Clearing and grubbing, including tree salvage and invasive species removal as needed. 3. Site preparation; temporary erosion and sediment controls, water management, and temporary access and staging areas. 4. Levee excavation, rock exploration trenches, and rock removal. 5. Side channel excavation. 6. Balance all excavations on-site (this project has no off-site haul for earth and rock). 7. Large Wood Structure installation; includes pile driving. 8. Site and property restoration; temporary erosion control seed mix, roadside cleanup, project closeout. The Engineer's Estimate ranges from $1,400,000 to $2,000,000 in total *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
