Page Unified School District, #8 is in Coconino County serving our K-12 Community. This Project, HVAC Improvements at Page Middle School, will be funded by the Division of School Facilities. Bring your subcontractors with you to this pre bid. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site as it is an occupied campus. Question Deadline 05/28/2025 at 3:08 PM MT. Page Unified School District, #8 in Coconino County. This Project will be funded by the Division of School Facilities with all that is entailed with their processes. All bonds shall be provided to Page Unified School District, #8 and must be from Surety Companies licensed in the State of Arizona, with a General Power of Attorney and rated "A+" in Best's Guide. Bid Bond: An irrevocable bid security payable to Page Unified School District, #8 in the amount of 10.00% of the total bid project cost is required. This security should be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, and must be scanned into the Vendor Questionnaire the District by the due time and date cited for this solicitation. Performance Bond: The contractor shall be required to furnish an irrevocable security in the amount of 100.00% of the total contract price payable to Page Unified School District, #8, binding the contractor to provide faithful performance of the contract. This security must be in the possession of the District within 48 hours after receipt of purchase order or other notice of award. The cost of this bond is itemized on the bid submittal form. Payment Bond: The Contractor shall be required to furnish non-revocable security for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to the contractor or any subcontractor for the performance of any work related to the contract. Payment security shall be in the amount of 100.00% of the total contract price and be payable to Page Unified School District, #8. The cost of this bond is included in your base bid. Liquidated Damages - a sum set forth in the Contract documents that will be deducted from any monies due to the Contractor, not as a penalty, but in lieu of actual damages for late completion of the work. Page Unified School District, #8 will incur damages if the Contractor fails to complete the work within the specified time or any approved extensions thereof and that the liquidated damages specified herein represent a fair and equitable approximation of PUSD's damages. If the selected vendor fails to meet the substantial time requirements for the delivery and/or installed acceptable implementation of the project, liquidated damages of $750 per day may be assessed for each day beyond sunset 180 days after notice to proceed/PO date. However, should an unforeseen problem arise, an extension may be granted in writing at the discretion of PUSD. Final completion must be sunset 200 days after notice to proceed. Work shall commence on upon award. The substantial completion date for all work is 180 days after notice to proceed and materials are on-site. Work shall be continuous and final completion review will take place 200 days after notice to proceed. Contractor shall maintain in current status all federal, state, and local licenses, bonds, and permits required for the operation of the business conducted by Contractor. Contractor shall remain fully informed of and in compliance with all ordinances and regulations pertaining to the lawful provision of services under the Contract. District reserves the right to stop work and/or cancel the contract of any Contractor whose license(s) expire, lapse, are suspended, or are terminated. District reserves the right to cancel, or suspend the use of, any Contract if Contractor files for bankruptcy protection, or is acquired by an independent third party. District reserves the right to immediately cancel the Contract without penalty or recourse, in whole or in part, when District determines cancellation to be in its best interests. Contractor shall be entitled to receive just and equitable compensation in accordance with applicable Contract pricing for authorized work in progress, authorized work completed, and materials accepted before the effective date of the cancellation.
