Pre Solicitation Notice Synopsis THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT BIDS. THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED FOR A MINIMUM OF 7 DAYS PRIOR TO POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of solicitation 15B41325Q00000008 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace Fuel Master at the Federal Correctional Institution, located in Sandstone, MN. FCI Sandstone is a federal correctional facility located at 2300 County Road 29, Sandstone, MN 55072. The project consists of the following: The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Sandstone has a requirement for replacement of (1) damaged Fuelmaster Pedestal system and pulling new electrical to the fuel island at Federal Bureau of Prisons located at 2300 County Rd 29 in Sandstone, MN. The new Fuelmaster Plus Model: FMU-25000PLUSG, Prokee Reader, 2 hose control and FMPuls Software will be installed at and/or near the Garage at FCI Sandstone. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all necessary labor, and all materials needed for the Removal of the Old Damaged Fuelmaster and Replacement, Installation, Wiring, Programming and verification of operation of the New Fuelmaster Plus Equipment. See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting (to be issued at a later date as described herein) for the complete requirements of the work. The performance period for the project will be 175 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $25,000 and $100,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The solicitation will be available approximately on or about May 23, 2025. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Contract Opportunity website at https://www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. This synopsis is intended only for those who would be entering into a Prime contract with the FBOP for the entirety of this project. The FBOP does not award subcontracts. Subcontracts (if applicable/necessary) are the responsibility of the Prime contractor. The FBOP has no privity of the contract with subcontractors. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
