Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Dowagiac, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: o Construct new Water Treatment Plant (WTP) with aeration detention rated at 2 million gallons per day o Complete improvements in well houses and remote sites as necessary to integrate with new controls system o Demolish existing WTP and exterior clearwell o All associated equipment, valves, piping, mechanical, electrical, controls, and site work. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. COMPLETION DATE The project shall be substantially complete on or before June 1, 2027. Final restoration and project completion shall occur on or before October 31, 2027. BID SURETY For bid surety requirements, see Section 00 21 13 Instructions to Bidders. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) days thereafter. Question deadline - 9 June 2025 Questions to be addressed in the addendum will be received through 5:00 p.m. five (5) business days prior to the bid.
