The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to perform planned (by the route) tree pruning, brush and small tree removal services, in accordance with the specifications herein, within the Richmond District along the right-of-way within the counties of Amelia, Brunswick, Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, New Kent, Nottoway, Powhatan, and Prince George. The purpose of this activity is to address vegetative hazards located in the ROW (ex. vertical/horizontal clearances, clear zones, sight distances, impacting assets, etc.). Awards will be made on a Grand Total basis.
