In accordance with MGL c. 30, 39M, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to seek bids to provide well cleaning and reconditioning services to the Town of Franklin. Project: It is the intention of the Town to schedule cleaning and/or redeveloping of an existing well on an annual basis. The budget for the annual work is $175,000. The Contractor will also be responsible for work on wells resulting from an "emergency condition" including a failure of a pump. Under these specifications, it is intended that the Contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, and supplies required to recondition and clean both the well and pumping equipment in service for the Town's wells.
