Reference Number 0000387988 Bid Intent Not Available The City is soliciting statements of qualifications from general contractors to prequalify to provide construction services for the annual water line replacement projects. The scope of services includes the provision of all materials, labor, equipment, and associated items necessary for the replacement of approximately 1 to 3 miles of existing water main. Work may involve a combination of conventional open-cut excavation and trenchless rehabilitation methodologies. Open-cut construction serves as the primary method; however, trenchless techniques may be required in specific segments where utility conflicts, restricted right-of-way or easement widths, or cost-prohibitive restoration of landscaping and surface improvements are present. Trenchless methodologies may include, but are not limited to, horizontal directional drilling, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, and pipe bursting. The City reserves the right to modify the scope of work by adding or revising water line replacement locations at its sole discretion. All contractors deemed prequalified as a result of this SOQ will be considered prequalified for the City's construction services for the annual water line replacement projects through December 31, 2028. The City reserves the right to issue future SOQs and to prequalify additional firms if needed. Following are the response requirements for this SOQ. To facilitate the evaluation, proposers mustsubmit and organize the submittal in accordance with this section. All specific response format items represent the minimum information proposers must submit. At the City's discretion, deletions or incomplete responses in terms of content or aberrations in form may render a submittal non-responsive.
