General Construction: This work consists of demolition of existing well pumps #2 and #3 including all associated pipes, fittings and appurtenances per the contract documents. The installation of pre-purchased well pumps #2 and #3 including all necessary piping, fittings, supports, and appurtenances per the contract documents. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Village Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed, faxed or delivered to all parties recorded by OWNER as having received the Bidding Documents. Removal and disposal of existing well pumps for Well #2 and Well #3, including all pipes, fittings, valves, and all associated appurtenances. 2. Modifications to the existing pedestal per pump manufactures recommendations. 3. Installation of new well pumps for Well #2 and Well #3, including all pipes, fittings, controls, and all associated appurtenances.
