Site work for a civil project in Barnstead, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
The Town of Barnstead is inviting proposal submissions for the construction of a stream crossing culvert replacement and associated roadway approach work on Coles Ledge Road over an unnamed stream tributary to Lougee Pond in Barnstead. The location and limits of the work are shown in the design plans. The work consists of removal of the existing 12-inch diameter reinforced concrete culvert and replacement with a 60-inch diameter polyethylene HDPE culvert, a 36-inch diameter polyethylene HDPE floodplain overflow culvert, and associated work at the project location. The Contractor will perform work under supervision of the Town and its Engineer, Right Angle Engineering, PLLC The project is considered a lump sum with any change orders to be considered on a quantity and unit price basis, if needed. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof. The Town also may waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposal, as needed to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Town.
