The City of Greenwood desires the services of a qualified contractor to remove damaged trees, stumps and root-balls caused by Hurricane Helene at Grace St Park. The goal is to remove trees that are blocking trails and are hazardous to the public and other features in the park. Root-balls and stumps resulting from the storm are also to be removed. There are stumps, a fallen tree, and debris located in West Cambridge Park that should also be removed as part of this contact. No mandatory pre-bid meeting, but damage is extensive a site visit to Grace Street Park prior to bidding is strongly encouraged. BACKGROUND The City of Greenwood desires the services of a qualified contractor to remove damaged trees, stumps and root-balls caused by Hurricane Helene at Grace St Park. Damaged trees include "leaning" trees (trees not fully uprooted or supported by other trees and leaning at an angle greater than 30 degrees), stumps, root-balls, hanging limbs, and downed trees. This park is heavily forested and is considered a natural park. The goal is to remove trees that are obstructing trails and may be dangerous to the public, structures, and other features in the park. Root-balls and stumps resulting from the storm are also to be removed. There are stumps, a fallen tree, and debris located in West Cambridge Park that should also be removed as part of this contact.
