Description: The City of Laurel, Department of Parks and Recreation is looking to replace all gutters and downspouts on the Gude Mansion. Specifications: 1. Remove existing 5" gutter and 2x3 downspout from house. 2. Inspect all fascia boards for damage, if damaged, replace with new 1x6 primed pine. If fascia board that is in need of replacement is crown molding that will have to be matched and priced separately according to molding cost. 3. Install new 6" seamless white aluminum K style .032 gauge gutter. 4. All gutters will be fastened with premium heavy-duty hangers every two feet. 5. All gutters will be installed with T-Wedges due to the fascia angle. 6. Install new 3x4 white downspouts in same location and some additional locations where downspouts should be installed, all fastened to gutters and building. 7. All end caps, miters and outlets are to be caulked. 8. Install GutterRX gutter covers in bronze over all new gutters. 9. Clean all job-related debris from site, dispose of properly. 10. 20-year material guarantee/5year labor guarantee. SCOPE: The contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary tools, labor, equipment, and material to complete the proposed job. PRE-BID VISIT: A site visit is encouraged prior to submitting their bid. The submission of a proposal on this work and service will be considered as a representation that the bidder has carefully investigated all conditions which affect or may, at some future date, affect the performance of the work or services covered by the proposal, the entire area to be serviced as described in the attached specifications and other contract documents and that the bidder is fully informed concerning the conditions to be encountered, character quality and quantity of work to be performed and equipment and materials to be furnished; also, that the bidder is familiar with all Federal, State, and City laws, all codes and ordinances of the City which in any way affect the prosecution of the work or persons engaged or employed in the work or the materials and equipment used in the work.
